"Get Out!" A Girl Scout Gold Award Project aiming to empower teenage girls by helping them identify the characteristics of healthy, unhealthy and toxic teen relationships. The educational video provides strategies for improving teen relationships and outlines strategies for getting out of unhealthy and toxic teen relationships. The video also supplies teens with emergency resources.
“Let’s Build It Girls” taught girls basic household skills including using hammers, screwdrivers, levels, finding studs, hanging things, measuring, filling holes, using sandpaper, painting, priming, cleaning up paint, taping off edges, following instructions and electricity basics. Girls in the community, as well as people who watched the video online, benefitted from the program. The goal was to empower girls to take on simple household tasks safely and teach others what they learned!
